Polished 11.8" Ammonite (Choffaticeras?) - Goulmima, Morocco
This is a huge, polished 11.8" wide ammonite collected North of Goulmima, Morocco. These ammonites are Upper Cretaceous (Early Turonian Stage) in age. The genus of this specimen is Choffaticeras based on the suture pattern, one of the larger ammonites from the locality.
