Pair of Orange Bathycheilus Trilobites - Zagora, Morocco
Here is a pair of orange, Bathycheilus trilobites from the Lower Ordovician deposits near Zagora, Morocco. The orange and red coloration is natural and due to the oxidization of iron pyrite. The larger specimen is .9" long and they are both centered on a nice, rectangularly cut piece of shale.
