Nice 1.41" Albertosaurus Tooth - Montana
This is a nicely preserved Albertosaurus tooth from the Two Medicine Formation (Judith River Group) of Montana. This formation is approximately 70 million years old, or about 5 million years old than the Hell Creek Formation which produces T-Rex. The tooth is 1.41" long which is decent sized and it has wonderful enamel preservation. There is some slight feeding wear to the tip and the fine serrations are almost all in good shape. There is one repaired crack about 1/3 of the way from the tip with a small chip missing on the edge by the crack. We can restore this at no charge if the buyer wants.
