Nice 1.16" Tyrannosaur Premax Tooth - Montana

This is a nice 1.16" long Tyrannosaur premax tooth from the Two Medicine Formation (Judith River Group) of Eastern Montana. The enamel preservation is beautiful on this tooth. There is feeding wear to the tip and most of the serrations have been worn down. Still a nice looking tooth. Comes in an acrylic display case.

There are three described Tyrannosaurs from the Two Medicine Formation (Judith River Group), Albertosaurus, Gorgosaurus and Daspletosaurus. Research done on teeth from these three Tyrannosaurs has concluded that isolated teeth are statistically impossible to assign to a specific genre because they are so similar.
