Nautilus Fossil From Madagascar - 2.95"
This is a polished Nautilus fossil from the Cretaceous aged formations of Madagascar. It's good sized at 2.95" in diameter and very solid. Nautilus is the common name for a type of marine cephalopod the first appeared in the Late Triassic and survives to this day. You can think of them like a squid with a shell.
