Fossil Sea Urchin (Acrosalenia) Plate (Acrosalenia)

This is a beautiful plate of fossil sea urchins of the species Acrosalenia hemicidaroides from the Jurassic of France. There are about a dozen small urchins present on the plate which is also covered with their spines. The plate is approximately 7-3/4 x 4-1/2 inches and the body of the urchins averages about 1/2 in wide.
