Multi-toned, 2.5" Phacopid Trilobite - Great Eyes

This is an gorgeous, multi-toned Phacopid trilobite collected near Mrakib, Morocco. It's arched over but would be about 2.5" long if outstretched. Nice preparation and nicely defined eye facets. The mult-toned coloration is likely due to parts of the shell being close to the surface of the rock, and thus have water leach minerals from the shell.
