Mioplosus & Knightia Fossil Fish Association - Wyoming

This is an beautiful, natural association four, well defined fossil fish from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. There is a 6.4" long specimen of Mioplosus labracoides, one of the more uncommon fish at the quarries associated with three Knightia eocaena, the largest of which is 4.5" in length. The rock itself is 13.5 x 12.2"
All of the fish are well defined and contrasts well with the cream colored shale. There is some minor restoration and touchups to the fins of the fish. It comes with a display stand but we can add a backing and well hanging hardware upon request for an additional $20
