Long Nosed Psychopyge Trilobite - Spectacular

This is one of the more unusual trilobites in the world, Psychopyge elegans with it's distinctive elongated rostrum. Dozens of hours of preparation work went into this specimen, which has over 50 tiny free standing spines, and beautifully preserved eyes. The long genal spines have been prepared free standing.

There is almost no reconstruction on this specimen. I did a few touchups of some surface scratches and airscribe dings from the original preparation work, but that is it as far as restoration. It's really a beautiful specimen.
