Leidyosuchus (Crocodilian) Jaw Section - Hell Creek

This is a nicely preserved jaw section of Leidyosuchus formidabilis a 66 million year old crocodilian. It comes from the Hell Creek Formation of Powder River County, Montana. The piece is 2" long and you can see 6 sockets where the teeth would have been. Five of these sockets still have the roots in place with the rest of the tooth broken off.
