Large, Top Quality Zlichovaspis Spinifera - 3.3"

This is an exceptional specimen of Zlichovaspis spinifera from Lghaft, Morocco. This type of Zlichovaspis is covered in tiny spines, a feature which is often destroyed by less quality preparation. This specimen was prepared by Hammi one of the finest preparators out there and the quality shows. Now only are the tiny all over it's thorax and head preserved, but the eye facets are pristine and the shell isn't burnt anywhere by air abrasives.

At about 3.3" long (if oustretched) this is quite large for the species, which tends to average around 2 inches, smaller than some of the non spiny Zlichovaspis species. There is NO RESTORATION on this specimen. Truly a top quality trilobite system.
