Large Deschaesites Ammonite Cluster - Russia
This is a beautiful cluster of ammonites from the Lower Cretaceous deposits of the Volga River in Russia. The centerpiece is a large 2.9" wide Deshayesites ammonite. It has been beautifully prepared from the hard concretion from which it was found. The base of the rock has been cut flat to create a very aesthetic, free-standing display.
