9.1" Petrified Tree Fern (Tietea) End Cut - (Special Price)

This is a large, 9.1" wide, log end cut of Permian aged petrified wood from the tree fern, Tietea singularis. The inner wood detail is very fascinating and it has a bright pinkish-red color. It comes from the Araguania petrified forest of Brazil and there is only one legal mining claim in the region. It has been nicely polished on one side to display the very interesting, fossilized internal structure of the plant.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
