Large, 3.4" Pedinopariops Trilobite - Flying Preparation
This is a large specimen of Pedinopariops vagabundus quarried from the Bou Dib Formation near Mrakib, Morocco. Nearly all of the limestone has been removed from around it, leaving it "flying" on a pillar of rock. This style of preparation is very time consuming. Excellent detail in both eyes and good shell quality. There is about 5% shell restoration on this specimen.
