Large, 1.8" Fossil Sand Tiger Shark Tooth - Georgia
This is a fossil tooth of a Sand Tiger Shark (Carcharias sp) from the Miocene aged Hawthorn Formation. It was collected from a river in Georgia and displays it's distinctive cusps.
