Killer 2.7" Dicranurus Monstrosus Trilobite

This is an exceptional and large (3" long) specimen of the very alien looking trilobite Dicranurus monstrosus. While fakes of this trilobite abound, real examples like this one are quite rare. The quality of work would have easily required 25 hours of preparation time to complete. Many of the spines as well as the horns have been prepared free standing, and restoration is less than 1%.

They don't get much better than this.
