Elegantly Spiny Kettneraspis Trilobite From Oklahoma
Here is a nice example of the Odontopleuridae trilobite Kettneraspis williamsi from the Haragan Formation of Oklahoma. It's very well preserved and laid out beautifully with the spines spread wide. It's perfectly prone unlike many that are partially enrolled or a little compacted. The small occipital spine is present, a detail lost on many of them. The carmel colored shell contrasts very well with the creme colored marl stone matrix. Very few Kettneraspis turn out this nice.
