Interesting 5" Petrified Wood Slab - Hampton Butte, Oregon

This is an interesting 5" wide jasper replaced petrified wood from Hampton Butte, Oregon. This location is one of only a handful of places in the world that produces green colored petrified wood. The fossilized wood at this locality is Oligocene in age.

This slab is one of a large number I acquired recently from an old collection. It has been polished on one side and comes with an acrylic display stand.
