Insane Boedaspis Trilobite - Incredible Preparation (Special Price)

This is a very large example of a rare Boedaspis, one of the most spectacular trilobite species in the world. It is a "dream trilobite" from many trilobite and fossil collectors. Not only are they very rare, but they take nearly a month of preparation time (100-200 hours) by a master trilobite preparator to complete. It's 2.7" long (the largest I've seen) and extremely well prepared with several of its flowing spines free of the surrounding limestone.

This large specimen is simply breathtaking with its pustulose, butterscotch colored exoskeleton, and long flowing spines. Restoration work is minimal, on left sides of the 3rd, 4th, 5th segments before the tail and some touchups on the head.
