14.5" Wide Fossil Pectin (Chesapecten) Cluster - Virginia

These are giant fossil Pectin (Chesapecten) collected from the Yorktown Formation in Virginia. It's covered in various fossil shell pieces and is still partially embedded in the sandstone in which it was found. The cluster is massive at 14.5" wide by 11.5" tall. The largest shell in the cluster is a massive 6.5" wide.
