Hoploscaphites Brevis Ammonite - 1.8"

This is a beautiful Hoploscaphites brevis from the Pierre Shale of South Dakota. It was found inside of a hard concretion and the rock had to be meticulously prepared away. It stands upright on it's own, on a base of rock.
