Great Hoploscaphites Plenus Ammonite - Montana

This is a beautiful Hoploscaphites plenus from the Pierre Shale of Montana. It's just under 2 inches wide and has great preservation. It's been wonderfully prepared from the hard concretion it was found in and the shell shines with a great iridescence. It displays well without a display stand.
