Gorgeous Priscacara & Knightia Association - 18 Inch Layer
This is a beautiful association of a fantastically preserved Priscacara serrata and a large Knightia eocaena from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. It was collected from the 18 inch layer at Warfield's Quarry near Kemmerer. The 18 Inch layer produces much darker colored preservation than the other layers, but the fish take substantial preparation time as they are buried under the surface of the rock when found.
The entire matrix is 17x11.6" long with the Priscacara being 4.6" and the Knightia being 6.5". It's a beautiful display piece. Comes with an acrylic display stand, but we can back it and install hardware to mount in on a wall at no charge.
