Gorgeous 3.4" Phacops Trilobite - Rare Type

This is an absolutely gorgeous, 3.4" long Phacopid trilobite from Jbel Issoumour, Morocco. This is a rare species, this was the only good specimen that they found in 8 days of digging the new layer.

The compound eyes in this specimen show amazing detail and all of the pustules on the head are well preserved. There is a small amount of shell restoration on the right hand side where the repaired crack runs through the pueral tips and right cheek. A beautiful trilobite
