Gorgeous 1.9" Oklahoma Lochovella (Reedops)

This is a beautifully preserve Lochovella deckeri formerly classified as Reedops from the Haragan Formation of Oklahoma. The preparation on this phacopid is outstanding, with the fine tubercular ornamentation that defines this genus easily seen on it's shell. It has outstanding eye facets, and a beautiful coloration that contrasts well with the creme colored matrix. This trilobite had been in my personal collection for years but I thought that it needed a new home.
