Gastropod, Echinoderm & Brachiopod Associatation - Indiana
This is a beautiful association from the Waldron Shale of Indiana featuring two large Platyostoma niagarense gastropods, two species of brachiopods (Stegerzhynchus neglecta, Homoeospira kvan, and echinoderm and several other fossils. The plate was expertly prepared under microscope, a process that took quite a bit of time for a plate of this size and is a beautiful display. It's an amazing example of the amount of life on the sea floor during the Silurian period.
