Gastropod, Brachiopod, Trilobite Association - Silurian

This is a very interesting association of 3 different types of fossils from the Silurian aged Waldron Shale of Indiana. There are two large Platyostoma niagarense gastropods, each about 1.5" wide, along with a large Eospinifer gastropod and the head of a Calymene breviceps trilobite. This piece was prepared under microscope using airscribes and air abrasives to expose the fossils. The surrounding rock has been sculpted to create a very aesthetic, free-standing display.
