Free Standing Petrified Wood - Rogers Mountain, Oregon

This is a richly colored, free standing piece of petrified wood from Rogers Mountain, Oregon. One face has been highly polished and shows a lot of detail including the tree rings. It almost doesn't even look like it's petrified until you try to pick it up and feel the weight. It's Miocene in age, so approximately 15 million years old.
