Fossil Winged Seed (Dipteriona) - Green River Formation

This is a beautifully preserved winged seed from the genus Dipteriona, collected from the Green River Formation near Kemmerer, Wyoming. While this formation is best known for well-preserved fossil fish, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse flora selection.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
