2.7 Inch Fossil Sumac Leaf

This is a beautiful dark colored fossil Sumac leaf from the Eocene aged Green River Formation of Wyoming. This formation is best known for it's remarkably preserved fish fossils but some quarries in other parts of the formation product a large number of high quality plant fossil such as this one.
