Fossil Poplar Leaf - Green River Formation

This is a fossil leaf from the tree Populus tidwellii (Poplar). It is Eocene in age and comes from the Green River Formation. The dark preservation contrasts well against the lighter shale matrix. It comes with a Riker mount display case.
