1.9" Fossil Leaf - Green River Formation, Utah
This is a very nice 1.9" piece of fossil flora from the Green River Formation of Uintah County, Utah. It appears to be a leaf that just emerged from the calyx and does not appear to have opened.
While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse insect fauna.
Comes with an acrylic stand.
