Fossil Gnat Swarm, Ant, and Rove Beetle in Baltic Amber
This is a piece of Baltic amber with several insect inclusions including twelve gnats (family Sciaridae), and ant (family Formicidae), and a rove beetle (family Staphylinidae - subfamily Pselaphinae).
