Fossil Caesalpinia Leaf & Monocot - Green River Formation

This is a well defined Caesalpinia pecorae leaf fossil from the Green River Formation in Utah. It is Eocene in age and the dark preservation contrasts well against the light colored shale. Also present on both sides of the plate is plant material from an unknown monocot. Comes with a riker mount display case.
