Flying Hollardops Trilobite - 2.25"

This is a nice Hollardops mesocristata trilobite which has been prepared so that it rests on a free-standing, pillar of matrix and appears to be flying. The preparation is well done and would have taken close to a dozen hours. You can even see the dozen of eye facets preserved in each eye.

There is only some very minor restoration on this specimen, about 1 or 2% total. There is a bit of restoration on the top of the first two axial rings, one tail spine, and a small spot on the head near the right genal spine.
