Exceptional Crotalocephalina Trilobite Specimen

This is an exceptionally prepared specimen of the trilobite Crotalocephalina gibbus. It is quite large at just over 3 inches in length, wide and inflated. The surface detail is excellent much better than most. The matrix has been artistically sculpted to create a very aesthetic display. Just compare this one to other specimens for sale, and you'll see why this one stands out.

There is a small bit of shell missing on the front of the glabella but it is barely noticeable and two repaired cracks through the specimen.
