Elegant, 14.6" Phareodus Fish Fossil - Wyoming
This is a large, 14.3" example of one of the more uncommon fossil fish found in the Green River Formation. It is a Phareodus from Warfield's Quarry near Kemmerer.
There area several repaired cracks running through the rock and the fish with some restoration along the cracks and a 1 1/2x1" hole in the middle of that was restored, because the piece of rock was lost during collection. Despite these repairs it's a beautiful specimen.
Comes with a display stand or we can add a backing and wall hanger to the piece upon request for a small additional charge.
