Drotops Armatus - Hedgehog of the Sea

This is amazing example of the super spiny phacopid trilobite Drotops armatus. It was prepared by possibly the best prepper of Moroccan trilobites in the world and unlike the majority of specimens on the market all of the spines are real. When I acquired this trilobite I was with the researching who has been describing Devonian trilobites from Morocco for decades, and he said it was the most impressive example of the species he had seen.
