Diplomystus and Knightia Fossil Fish Plate - 8x11"

This 8x11" plate of shale from the Green River Formation contains five fossil fish on the front and one on the back. There are three Knightia eocaena and a Diplomystus dentatu (front side). One Diplomystus on the back which is the last photo in the series. It was quarried at a private quarry near Kemmerer, Wyoming.

The plate is about 1/2" thick and displays quite nicely on the included display stand.
