3.7" Plate Of Silurian Fossil Algae (Leveillites) - Estonia
Initially thought to be a graptolite, Leveillites is now thought to be a primitive algae. This detailed specimen comes from the Lower Silurian, Kalana Quarry in Estonia which provided an exceptional preservation atmosphere for these plants which typically do not fossilize well.
The base of the rock has been cut flat, allowing for aesthetic presentation on a flat surface.
