Detailed Fossil Winged Termite (Isoptera) In Baltic Amber
This is an amazingly detailed 44 million year old fossil winged termite (order Isoptera) preserved in Baltic Amber. There are two additional partial winged termites within the amber as well. The complete termite is about 10mm wide.
As a reminder, most inclusions in baltic amber are extremely small so magnification will be needed to make out much detail. A physical photo of the specimen is included with your order and we will also email you a high resolution digital copy.
