Detailed Fossil Clothes Moth (Tineidae) in Dominican Amber

This specimen features a fossil clothes moth (order Lepidoptera - family Tineidae) and plant debris preserved in Dominican amber. The moth measures about 5.8mm long (including wings) in a 25 x 20 x 12mm piece of amber.

As a reminder, most inclusions in amber are extremely small so magnification will be needed to make out much detail. Included with your order is a physical photo of the specimen.
