Detailed, 2.3" Metacanthina Trilobite - Lghaft, Morocco

This is a 2.3" long (if outstretched) long specimen of Metacanthina issoumourensis often referred to as an "Asteropyge" or “Kayserops”. It was quarried near Lghaft, Morocco, and has exceptional eye facet preservation in both eyes.

At 2.3" long this specimen is quite large for the species and the preparation is top notch. It displays very aesthetically on the sculpted piece of limestone.
