Cretaceous Fish Vertebrae - Hell Creek Formation - Montana
This is an interestingly shaped, single vertebrae from a Cretaceous fish. It was collected from private land in Carter County, Montana from deposits of the Hell Creek formation, the same formation that is famous for producing fossils of T-Rex. The vertebrae measures 1.37" wide and .56" long and has little weathering, but is missing its processes.
