Beautifully Prepped Metacanthina (Asteropyge) Trilobite

This is a gorgeous chocolate colored trilobite of the species Metacanthina issoumourensis often referred to as an "Asteropyge" or “Kayserops”. The dark colored shell contrasts nicely against the light colored rock and the preparation work is outstanding. It has wonderful surface detail and the facets in it's eyes can easily be seen. It comes from the Lower Devonian rocks around Alnif, Morocco. This specimen has NO restoration.
