Beautiful Prone Phacops On Pedastal

This is a very detailed Phacops trilobite from Jebel Issoumour, Morocco. It has been cleaned with air abrasives and the wonderful surface detail including eye facets and the distinctively bumpy shell can easily be seen. The matrix has been sculpted so that it rests on top of a free-standing pedestal and there is the head of another Phacops resting below it. No restoration.
