Beautiful Crotalocephalina Crawling Over Rock
This is a nicely prepared example of the Moroccan trilobite Crotalocephalina gibbus. The way it was fossilized it looks almost like it is crawling over the rock in a very aesthetic display. The head has been prepared free of the matrix so that the hypostome (mouth plate) can be seen underneath. This is a very fine example of this species with no restoration.
