Bargian, 2" Hamatolenus Trilobite - Tinjdad, Morocco

This is an 1.9" long specimen of the Middle Cambrian trilobite Hamatolenus. These trilobites are pretty rare to find this nicely preserved, and as inflated as this specimen. Unlike most, this one has both cheeks tightly attached. The bright orange coloration is natural and due to the oxidization of iron pyrite. The trilobite is squished, hence the bargain price.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
