Bargain Hollardops Trilobite

This is a bargain example of the trilobite Hollardops mesocristata from Morocco. This species is often referred to Metacanthina but that is an outdated name. The preparation work on this specimen is good. The left genal spine is missing and there is some very minor restoration to the left side of the head and one pleural spine on the left side. It has fine surface detail and beautifully facetted eyes.
