Austerops & Gerastos Trilobite Mortality Plate - Jorf (reduced price)

This is an stunning, mass mortality plate of beautifully, colored Austerops and Gerastos trilobites, collected near Jorf, Morocco. There are 6 complete Austerops the largest of which is 1.5" long and 12 complete Gerastos as well as many partials.

The rock from the Jorf area is extremely hard with almost a glass-like texture to it. This makes it very time consuming to prepare compared to other localities. Dozens and dozens of hours of prep work went into this piece. A true one of a kind, museum quality display piece!
